VICSES, in partnership with the City of Ballarat are pleased to offer the Canadian Creek and tributaries draft Local Flood Guide for community consultation.

The Canadian Creek and Tributaries Local Flood Guide covers residents and business owners located near the Canadian Creek and its tributaries in the Ballarat East, Canadian and Eureka areas.

Interested persons are invited to provide comment and feedback on the Draft Local Flood Guide to ensure the Guide is relevant and contains accurate local information.

The Guides provides valuable information on flood conditions in the Ballarat East, Canadian and Eureka area as well as information enabling you to plan and prepare for flooding.

The draft Canadian Creek and Tributaries Local Flood Guide can be viewed on this webpage from Wednesday 15th July until Friday 7th August 2015. Comments and feedback can be provided electronically by accessing the following link.

Two “Drop In” style community consultation sessions will also be held for the Draft Local Flood Guide.

Copies of the draft Canadian Creek and Tributaries Local Flood Guide will be on display and feedback forms available at the BEC’s Community Market to be held at the Ballarat East Men’s Shed located at 730 Eureka Street Ballarat East on Saturday 11th July from 8am to 1pm at the VICSES display.

Copies of the draft Local Flood Guide will also be on display and feedback forms available at the City of Ballarat’s ‘Switched on to Safety’ display at Central Square on Thursday 16th July from 9am to 5pm.
