Nature Strip Policy

Consultation has concluded

The Nature Strip Policy has been drafted in response to feedback from residents who have expressed concern over the aesthetics of nature strip plantings and , utility providers who require access to services below the nature strip and the City’s aim to ensure road reserve safety.

The purpose of the proposed Nature Strip Policy is to ensure safety for street users, streetscape continuity and ease of access to underground services with a surface that can be reinstated simply.

We welcome all residents to read the Nature Strip Policy Statement online or Download the Draft Nature Strip Policy (pdf) and provide your feedback below.
