The Nature Strip Policy has been drafted in response to feedback from residents who have expressed concern over the aesthetics of nature strip plantings and , utility providers who require access to services below the nature strip and the City’s aim to ensure road reserve safety.
The purpose of the proposed Nature Strip Policy is to ensure safety for street users, streetscape continuity and ease of access to underground services with a surface that can be reinstated simply.

Why Do You Need To Register To Take The Survey Online?
Registering opens up the doors to this and other consultations online, to complete surveys, add comments, join public discussions and more. You can use email, Facebook or Twitter to register. Registering helps make sure that survey results and comments can be filtered on postcodes for local voices to be at the top and stops "spamming" of your important feedback. The survey is also available in hard copy at our Customer Service Centre and local Ballarat libraries and can also be downloaded from this site and posted.
