City of Ballarat is expanding the walking and cycling trails in Ballarat East. Help us to plan the improvements.

City of Ballarat is in the early stages of planning improvements to the walking and cycling trails in Ballarat East. Improvements to the trail network are one of the actions arising from the Ballarat East Local Area Plan. You can help with our planning by reviewing and providing feedback on the proposals.

When complete, these projects will provide walking and cycling options that allow safe, accessible and enjoyable travel from the Yarrowee River Trail in Brown Hill to Sovereign Hill in Golden Point, or from Sturt Street in the CBD to Woowookarung Regional Park in the Canadian and a continuation of the Warrenheip Gully Trail.
