Ballarat is Open

Consultation on the Ballarat is Open project is now complete.

Through a series of design sprints, an online survey, drop-ins and listening posts, and the use of whiteboards across the city, we've asked you to share with us how you see Ballarat now, your vision for Ballarat in the future, and ideas on how you think we might get there.

From this, we'll be developing the Ballarat Prosperity Framework. This document will give us a blueprint for developing segmented but specific marketing campaigns, future strategies, Council plans, projects and activities with a deliberate focus on economic and community development inclusive of tourism and the visitor economy. It will also be shared with everyone so we can work collaboratively to promote our beautiful city with one voice.

The draft of the Ballarat Prosperity Framework will go to our Ballarat is Open reference group for feedback by the end of 2019. It will then go to Council for adoption in early 2020.
