Pump Track Design Intent
Site Design
The pump track footprint has largely been influenced by the site and existing conditions. Best effort has been taken to provide a solution to fit the topography and drainage considerations.
The track has been positioned to allow for the existing overland flow path and to ensure that the pump track structure isn't impacted in a peak rain event.
Pump Track Design
The pump track is a single loop with a central complex that offers interesting shapes and transfer opportunities. There is a primary platform at the south end to allow for resting between laps.
The tracks features are 0.4-0.8m in height and the berms are 1.0m in height.
The track features are designed so beginners can roll safely over, intermediate users can gain confidence & experience, and advanced users can showcase and continue to develop their skills.
An all-abilities track was highly requested in the feedback.
The track design is currently within budget.
