Thank you for your input to the Ballarat Community Attitudes to Gambling survey in 2025.

Here’s what we heard, and what happens next:

• 343 people completed the survey, and 40 people attended in‑person sessions.
• We will continue to work closely with the Ballarat Gambling Harm Prevention Taskforce to advocate for gambling reform, and to ensure education is available for the Ballarat community in the places that we heard it is needed it most.
• Feedback from the community will shape the update to the City of Ballarat's Gambling Harm Minimisation Policy 2022. An updated draft of this policy will go out for public exhibition later in 2026.
