Finalised Community Infrastructure Needs and Gap Analysis Report

As part of the development of the Community Infrastructure Plan we have gathered information about existing facilities and our population forecasts to consider the service needs and related infrastructure that our growing and changing population will have over the next 10 years. We have also considered existing plans and strategies in the analysis recognising the work and contributions of the community that have already occurred. This has been collated into a Needs and Gap Analysis report.

The consultation period for the Community Needs and Gap Analysis report took place between the 23 June 2021 and the 14 of July 2021. Community were able to make comment on the drafted Report via an online survey, by participating in one of two online question and answer sessions, or an in person drop-in session at either the Sebastopol Library on the 8th of July or at the Phoenix Building on the 14th of July. The Consultation Report can be found in the documents section along with the Final Needs and Gap Analysis Report. The Consultation Report details the feedback that was captured, and how this information has been considered.

Next Steps: Now the report is finalised, the findings from each of the service area and planning area reviews will be used to identify recommended projects and or actions and workshopped with internal stakeholders to determine project scope, priority level, estimated timelines and costs. The recommended projects will then be included in the in the draft Community Infrastructure Plan which will be made available for further community feedback in October 2021. Come back to this page at any time for further updates on the project as is progresses. You can also view the Community Infrastructure Planning Process diagram to see how the development of the Plan will be undertaken in more detail.
