Consultation has concluded

As centre to Western Victoria, Ballarat needs to positively respond to the projected growth in the City and Region’s population. The health and education conditions we seek for our population are relevant services delivered by competent professionals who live and work in our City because it provides an environment that is not only attractive, with a strong sense of place, but also facilitates opportunities for integrated approaches to health, education, research and investment.

We want to know ‘How can we create a health and education precinct that works well and is exciting to be in; one that plays a productive role in the attraction and retention of a health, education and research workforce, to meet the growing needs of our City and Region?

We’d like you to play a role in finding the answer to this important question by participating in a special planning event where you will work with others and our professional team, to co-design the future precinct.

This co-designing conference will be held Wednesday, July 15th followed by a presentation and feedback session, the evening of Thursday, July 16th

We want you to participate in both sessions.

Places are limited and will be confirmed prior to the conference.

This is a chance for the community to work together and with a Design Team, which brings together the disciplines of planning, urban design, traffic management and commercial investment.  This is how we will make sure the needs and aspirations of all stakeholders and user groups are understood.

Your input is essential.  It will help the Design Team shape options.  The presentation and feedback session is also critical because the provides valuable feedback on what may or may not be acceptable to you before a lot of detailed work is undertaken.

During the conference activities you’ll learn, have your say, meet people and even have fun!  It will be a significant planning event for our City
