This has been an important opportunity for young people aged 12 - 25 and the broader community to have their voices and ideas heard of how to make Ballarat an even better place for young people.

We are currently reviewing the contributions of ideas on activities, programs and events that are important to the community to inform the development of City of Ballarat’s Youth Strategy 2022 -2026.

Council will continue to work collaboratively with our team of Youth Co Designers to develop a ‘Draft’ Youth Strategy over coming months that will be provided to the community for feedback.

Youth Survey (12-25)

This survey is for young people aged 12-25 who live, work, study or play within City of Ballarat.

We want to find out what sort of ideas you might have to make Ballarat an even better place for young people and the types of issues that are impacting young people.

The survey is completely anonymous (so no-one will know it was you) and you don’t have to answer every question if you don’t want to. It should take about 5 minutes to complete.

Please note, there are some questions that include content on sensitive topics such as mental health and personal safety. These may be triggering for you. We respect your sensitivity and wellbeing and all questions are optional. Broader Community Survey

This survey is for community members to share their ideas about how to make Ballarat an even better place for young people and to let us know about the types of issues that are currently impacting young people.

The survey is designed to be filled out by parents, carers, guardians, elders, volunteers, coaches, and other community representatives involved with young people.

It should take about 5 minutes to fill out and the survey is completely anonymous.

Youth Sector Survey

This survey is designed to be filled out by people working in the following types of youth-related services in Ballarat, e.g. community agencies/organisations, case management, mental health, education, legal, housing, outreach, residential care and other relevant organisations.

It should take about 5 - 10 minutes to fill out and the survey is completely anonymous.
