Thank you for your feedback

15 January 2026

Thank you to everyone who shared feedback as part of this engagement.

In total, we heard from over 480 people through a combination of online participation, in-person conversations, and community drop-in sessions.

Participants represented a broad cross-section of the community, including different age groups, parents and carers, people with disability, culturally diverse community members, and people who regularly use the Lake Wendouree precinct. While analysis is still underway, several consistent high-level themes emerged across the feedback:

  • Strong community support for improved access to public toilet facilities
  • A clear expectation that any facility is accessible, safe, and inclusive
  • The importance of design that is thoughtful and sensitive to the surrounding environment
  • Common requests for features that improve safety, comfort, and usability for a wide range of users

A summary report outlining who we heard from, what we heard overall, and the next steps will be published in early March. If you would like to be notified of the release of this report, please click the ‘Follow’ button in the top banner of the Lake Wendouree Public Toilets page.

Thank you again to everyone who took the time to participate.
