About Shaw Avenue Reserve
Shaw Avenue Reserve is a neighbourhood park located in Wendouree. The park is bounded by Cromwell Street and Shaw Avenue.
The park features the following elements:
- park shelter with picnic setting
- park seating
- a basketball half court
- a junior playspace with accessible and fitness elements
- double set of futsal goals
- connecting pathways on the western side of the reserve to provide all weather connections to the nearby primary schools.
- extensive tree and understorey planting with assistance from the students at Wendouree Primary School.
Recent works
In September 2022 we asked the community to review the draft concept design and provide feedback. We received 12 responses indicating a need to rework the design. The engagement summary can be found in the Document Library. The revised concept plan can be located by clicking on the buttons below.
