Consultation has concluded
The project at the White Flat Recreation Reserve is now complete. It has delivered sporting facility upgrades and installation of community safety infrastructure to improve sporting amenity and safety at the Reserve.
The project has provided female-friendly changerooms, umpires' changerooms and amenities, public toilets and shower facilities, kitchen and servery, and multi-use change and social space facilities at the Reserve.
Community safety additions have included Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), lighting, landscaping, pathways and signage.

This project has been funded by the Victorian Government’s Community Crime Prevention Program and the City of Ballarat. The project aim to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and improve perceptions of safety in and around the Reserve.
Building better sporting infrastructure at White Flat Recreation Reserve
The White Flat female-friendly changeroom upgrade is being delivered by the City of Ballarat in partnership with the Victoria Government.
The project included refurbished changerooms to support sports, including AFL, cricket and athletics. The upgrade have ensured the facilities meet the AFL-preferred facilities guidelines for local level facilities.
